  BLV-india - Website Design and Development Life Cycle
   
  Step I - Requirements Gathering
  Business requirements are gathered in this 1st phase. Requirements gathering is a term used to describe all the tasks that go into the instigation, scoping and definition of a new or altered computer system. Requirements analysis is an important part of the software engineering process; whereby business analysts or software developers identify the needs or requirements of a client. Having identified these requirements they are then in a position to design a solution. After client contact BLV-india, we gather all the required information and then set about structuring the requirements in the form of package.
   
  Step II - Design
  The software system design is produced from the results of the requirements. Web design is the design or designing of a webpage, website or web application. The term generally refers to the graphical side of web development using images, CSS and one of the HTML standards. After going through the detailed requirements, our web designers start designing the web site. This entails creating the functionality of the site i.e. how the pages display the information to the user. After completion of design part we then develop the first Home page Template and Internal pages
   
  Step III - Implementation
  Code is produced from the deliverables of the design phase during implementation, and this is the longest phase of the software development life cycle. For a developer, this is the main focus of the life cycle because this is where the code is produced. Implementation my overlap with both the design and testing phases. We then get in touch with the client and review the demo site with them. Clients then make decisions on changes to information and design. Once the changes have been made we contact the client for approval. Once the client is happy and gives the go ahead the development is taken to the next phase.
   
  Step IV - Testing
  BLV-india do comprehensive site testing to ensure that the web site is working as it should be. During testing, the implementation is tested against the requirements to make sure that the product is actually solving the needs addressed and gathered during the requirements phase. Unit tests and system/acceptance tests are done during this phase. Unit tests act on a specific component of the system, while system tests act on the system as a whole.
   
  Step V - Delivery
  The client is informed that their new site is 'live', up on the web for viewing.
   
  Step VI - Maintenance - (Optional)
  Maintenance is nothing but keeping the web site current and it is not intended to be a redesign or revamp. A current local backup copy of your website will be maintained. Website maintenance includes revising, editing, or otherwise changing existing web pages to keep your website up-to-date. The periodic addition of new web pages is also part of maintenance services.
